Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund Purpose: to provide resources for the Rabbi to help others in need. Donations must be made out to “Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund”. |

Lisa S. Blank Youth Activities Fund Purpose: to reflect the activities of a Jewish Community Center – a place where kids can hang out, monies will supply games and equipment. It will help only with program in Cape Cod Synagogue. |

Harold Brown Choir Fund Purpose: all income from this fund includes additional needs of the choir not provided by the synagogue budget. |

Building and Learning Center Fund Purpose: used for the creation and improvement of the synagogue’s physical plant. |

Cantor Bruce Malin Music Fund Purposes: to promote appreciation and understanding of Jewish music, both sacred and secular, within the Cape Cod Synagogue and the wider public and to help fund periodic programs of Jewish music and culture for the members of the synagogue and to present an annual concert of Jewish instrumental or choral music by bringing to the Cape Cod Synagogue a guest conductor, choral or instrumental ensemble, or lecturer in Jewish music. |

| Roberta Capen Aesthetic Fund Purpose: to be used for the beautification of the Cape Cod Synagogue. |
|
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN/BEAUTIFICATION FUND Purpose: to finance the continuing renovation of various components of the synagogue, e.g. Social Hall, Sanctuary, School Wing, Foyer, etc. |

Chupah Fund Purpose: to purchase and/or repair the Chupah |
|
Endowment Fund Purpose: to provide a base for the financial stability of the synagogue and to generate investments that can yield significant income for the operating expenses including consideration given to donor’s specified intent. The Board of Managers has the power to invest or reinvest or to change investments as needed. Annually, 5% of the corpus of the Endowment Fund is provided to supplement the operating budget. Minimum donation is $100. |

Family Education Fund Purpose: to be used for family education. |

General Fund Purpose: to supplement the operating budget of the synagogue. |

Abraham Gordon Adult Education Fund Purpose: to supplement budgeted Adult Education monies to provide additional education programming. |

David and Dora Haskel Campership Fund Purpose: to be used to subsidize costs incurred by children of synagogue members in their attendance at URJ camps. Distribution is based upon need. |

Klei Kodesh Fund (Prayer Books and Ritual Items) Purpose: to include not only prayer books ($36), but also to include any amount someone wishes to donate and that this money would be used to purchase needed ritual items or repair those that need repair. |

LA-AM Purpose: to support the senior group activities. The Henry and Trudy Hely scholarship is awarded annually to an eligible synagogue member going off to college. |

Levitt CAPTY Scholarship Fund Purpose: to enrich and encourage Jewish education of Cape Cod Synagogue youth to attend any one of the three annual institutes of NFTY. There is to be a grant of one-half toward the overall cost of a NFTY Institute for any member of CAPTY. This is to be used only one time per year by a student. No more than 10% of the Fund may be spent in any given year. |

Library Fund Purpose: to buy books and subscriptions. A minimum of $250 is required to buy a shelf of books, but all monetary donations are accepted. |

| CLICK HERE | Oneg (Shabbat) and Flower Fund Purpose: to sponsor food and flowers for the Friday night Shabbat Oneg (collation). Minimum donation is $36. |
Carol Ruth Porter Memorial Fund Purpose: to encourage and permit the study of Judaica or the study of Hebrew by members of the synagogue family. Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students. Only the interest from this fund is used for awards. |

Religious School Fund Purpose: to be used to enhance the education of synagogue students, over and above the annual school budget in line with the School’s Mission Statement. |

Religious School Scholarships Fund (Betty Elins/SJ) Purpose: to provide tuition assistance to students of the Religious School based upon financial need. |

Muriel and Myron Sandler Religious School Teacher Education Fund Purpose: to provide funds for the purpose of education of the synagogue’s Religious School teachers. |
|
Harry Shane Remembrance and Caring Fund Purpose: to fulfill congregants’ needs as pertains to rides, shopping, meals, visits or any such other situation that might arise due to aging, illness or from other “real life” reasons or concerns. |

Sissinwine Sukkah Fund Purpose: to provide visual enhancement and programming of the Sukkah from year to year. |
|
Susi Ohringer Torah Fund Purpose: to memorialize the synagogue’s Holocaust Torah, to provide ongoing Torah education for all members of the Congregation. Initially, this fund financed a new Torah written especially for the Cape Cod Synagogue. |

Tzedakah/Social Action Fund Purpose: to promote social action on behalf of Cape Cod Synagogue in the general community. |
|
Cantor’s Discretionary Fund Purpose: to provide resources for the Cantor Emeritus to help others in need. Donations must be made out to “Cantor’s Discretionary Fund”. |

| George & Lela Porter Fund Purpose: to support outside speakers for the Adult Learning Center at Cape Cod Synagogue. |

| Morris and Sara Gottesman Scholarship
Fund Purpose: to grant an annual scholarship of $250.00 to a graduated Cape Cod high school senior and member of the cape Cod Synagogue, to be used for text books and/or educational supplies at an accredited college or university program. Applicants will be awarded the scholarship based upon their commitment to community service and volunteerism. |
